Monkey Puzzle Sonning is approached down a private roadway. It is situated just off of the A4 and in close proximity to the M4. Just 3 miles from Reading town centre and next to the prestigious Blue Coats School.

A spacious one storey building set in 4 acres of delightful parkland, transformed by Monkey Puzzle to create a 53 place day nursery of the very highest quality. Your child will benefit from our rural secure environment which includes mature pines, birch and oak, offering children aged three months to five years the chance to learn and play in calming and spacious surroundings which has been specifically designed to create a loving, homely and safe environment for your child.

A drop off and pick up area with a large car park helps to ensure that every visit to the nursery is welcoming and convenient for both your child and you.

Monkey Puzzle serve only free range and organic (where possible) meals to the children and all food is freshly prepared on site.

Facilities

Babies are separated into mobile and non mobile groups to enable staff to cater for their individual requirements. With a dedicated sleep area where babies can be supplied with their own mattress and bedding and fully equipped changing room. Each baby is encouraged to develop through creative and sensory activities.

Toddlers are located in a room that caters to their specific age group. With sensory and creative area's to develop and stimulate their inquisitive minds plus a messy play area. Dedicated toilets and sinks allow this room to be self sufficient thereby developing and encouraging independence.

A large bright and spacious area the pre-school room allows children to develop their numeracy and literacy skills with specific areas to facilitate this. The room benefits from a creative area for messy play, a home corner, a reading corner, a computer area and a free play area to allow them to participate in a well-structured day which helps prepare them for primary school. In addition it has its own dedicated toilets and sinks to help encourage independence.

With large secure soft and all weather play area's containing a variety of stimulating play equipment and climbing frames to promote every child's passion for exploring and developing their social skills.

Our opening hours are 7.30am-6.30pm and parents or guardians are welcome to drop off or collect between these times whenever they like, completely free of any further fees or charges.

Our fees are inclusive of branded quality nappies, wipes (and creams if required), although parents are welcome to supply their own brands if preferred.
