Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery is conveniently located just off Clarendon Square near the centre of Leamington Spa. The nursery is located in a new development with outstanding facilities.

With over 5,700 square feet of space, Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery benefits from four large open plan day rooms, plus a separate dining room catering for children aged from 3 months to five years. In addition, there is a secure, large and well-equipped outside play area with the latest impact resistant surface to ensure peace of mind when inevitable tumbles occur.

Uniquely amongst local nurseries, Monkey Puzzle has a large 1000 square foot indoor soft play area, which is equipped with trampolines, tumble blocks and slides etc to provide exercise when it is not possible to use the outside play area.

The drop off area is both large and secure, being off the main road and behind electric gates. The Nursery benefits from their own dedicated rooms for Babies, Teenines, Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers.

Facilities

· Babies

Non-mobile Babies benefit from a large open plan day room which is well equipped with the latest equipment to stimulate the Babies senses during their formative months. A separate, dedicated sleep room has space for up to twelve Babies and each Baby will have their own mattress to ensure the highest levels of hygiene. In addition the babies will have their own dedicated changing facilities and milk kitchen.

· Teenies

The Teenies room focuses on the needs of more mobile babies. Again a dedicated well appointed room with outstanding levels of equipment is provided for the Teenies to follow the 'birth to three matters' framework, which encourages learning through play. Within their room there are several areas including a cosy area, where Teenies are read stories, a sand and water play area, a soft block area for the children to develop their climbing skills, a construction area to develop coordination and a 'messy' area for painting. The Teenies also benefit from having their own nappy changing facilities and potty area

· Toddlers

Toddlers, aged up to three years old, still follow the 'birth to three matters' framework so the focus is still on learning through play. The large Toddler room has creative areas, a reading corner, circle time area and a home corner. As this is also the time when the majority of children start 'potty training', the Toddler room is equipped with brightly decorated children's toilets, encouraging independence. Toddlers also benefit from their own well equipped outside play area fitted with impact flooring.

· Pre-School

Pre-School children follow the 'foundation stage' preparing them for their eventual move to school. This is a far more structured routine, with children working in groups and becoming accustomed to paying attention for longer periods of time. Topics covered are based on the six areas of learning: physical development, personal, social and emotional development, language and literacy, creative development, knowledge and understanding of the world and mathematics. Pre-Schoolers have their own easily accessible, brightly decorated children's toilets and a well equipped outside play area.
